We are pleased to report that we do not have any COVID-19 cases in any of our Homes in both NSW and VIC. We thank our residents, their families and our employees for their continued support. We know how desperate families are to visit their loved ones and we can’t wait for the time when we can welcome visitors back into our Homes.
Moran Engadine and Moran Sylvania – NSW Health Guidelines state that the Sutherland Shire has a growing number of COVID-19 community transmitted cases and as a result of that visitor restrictions at Moran Engadine and Moran Sylvania must remain. You can view the NSW Health Website HERE.
Moran Kellyville – we had hoped to lift visitor restrictions at Moran Kellyville with effect from 14th September, but following a directive from NSW Health, Chief Health Officer, Dr Kerry Chant our Home will remain closed to visitors until 18th September. You can view the directive HERE
Moran Roxburgh Park – We continue to follow Government directives regarding visits to our Home and as a result of these directives Moran Roxburgh Park remains closed to visitors. We continue to be hopeful that Victoria is moving towards reduced COVID-19 community transmission and that we are not too far off being able to plan towards cautiously opening the Home to visitors.
We promise that as soon as we receive advice that we can safely open our Homes to visitors we will resume visits. In preparation for this we have developed a 5-minute video on conducting safe visits to Moran Homes which we will require all visitors to watch prior to visiting. You can download the video HERE.
When we re-open we will continue to actively screen all visitors. Please keep yourself aware of NSW Health published hotspots and venues where there are known cases of COVID-19 community transmission. As visitors from those hotspots and those who do not have evidence of Flu Vaccination will not be permitted to enter our Homes.
Lastly, we continually monitor the NSW Health and the Public Health Unit updates, if any advice is changed or updated, Moran will advise families immediately.
If anyone has any concerns or questions we urge them to contact the General Manager of their Home direct..
