The updated NSW Health advice for aged care providers located in Greater Sydney is current until at least 11:59pm on Wed 30 December. Two visitors can visit residents in residential aged care facilities once per day unless they are an excluded person. Excluded persons are:
- Visitors who reside in the Northern beaches LGA
- Visitors that have been directed to isolate or quarantine due to potential COVID-19 contact
- Visitors who attended venues and locations listed on the NSW COVID Case Locations Venue List HERE
- Visitors with a temperature of 37. 5°C or higher, or if you are unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19
- Visitors who have had any contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19
- The full notice is available to read on the NSW Health website HERE
All visitors should note the following requirements for every visit:
- Wearing of masks is compulsory for the entire duration of your visit
- EVERY visitor must register their details in the QR Code registration system and complete the screening questions
- Visits must occur in resident rooms, no visit can occur in common areas
- Staff will escort visitors to and from the resident room
You should allow extra time for screening on arrival, due to the requirement for every visitor to check the NSW COVID Case Locations Venue List HERE and to complete visitor screening including temperature checks and to be escorted to the resident room. A reminder – PLEASE keep a social distance of 1.5 metres or 6 feet at the check-in area and follow the signs about lift capacity.

Resident outings – attending family gatherings or excursions – 14-day isolation required on return
The NSW Health advice requires residents who elect to leave the facility anytime from now until 11:59pm on Wednesday 30 December to isolate for 14 days on their return. Some families previously advised they wish to take their loved ones out of the facility over the Christmas period, and we appreciate with the changed health advice your plans may change.
Please contact the General Manager on 24th December, if you still wish to take your loved one out of the facility in the next 7 day and continue to monitor the NSW Health website HERE and wear a mask when outside.
Please contact the office staff or your General Manager if you would like to clarify these arrangements or have any questions or concerns on
