COVID-19 – NSW Temporary Visitor Restrictions 13/10/2020

COVID-19 NSW Community Transmission

We have been advised that Public Health contact tracers have commenced work following COVID-19 community transmission in the Lakemba area, specifically at the A2Z Medical Centre, 96 Haldon Street, Lakemba, 2190 during the period 29th September and 10th October 2020 inc.  As a precaution, we are closing our NSW Homes whilst we complete our own internal investigations about which employees and visitors may have been in this area during this period.

If you have visited a Moran Home and have visited the Lakemba area (postcodes 2190 and 2195 ) during this period, or have had contact with anyone that has recently been to this area please contact your General Manager immediately to provide them with information about who you have visited in our Homes.

Please be assured that we do not have any COVID-19 cases, this is a precaution only.

IMPORTANT – We have cancelled all booked visits for Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Compassionate ‘essential’ visits remain available for residents whose needs can only be supported by daily or specific care or are receiving end of life care, or where there is a change in the condition of a resident. If you require a compassionate visit, please contact your General Manager direct.

We will continue to monitor developments closely over the next few days and will keep you updated. We thank you for your continued support and understanding.  Our teams will work with you to facilitate, telephone calls, facetime or skype catch ups in the interim and we urge you to contact the General Manager of your home if you have any concerns or questions.
