Visiting our Homes

If you are a family member of a Moran resident, please check your email for the latest visiting times at your Moran Home or contact us.

We have adopted a three-tiered visitation protocol that can be switched depending on the current situation at the Moran Home.  

  • Green – Limited community transmission – Low Risk
  • Orange – Rising community transmission or COVID-19 exposure in the Home – Medium Risk
  • Red – Outbreak declared – High Risk

Green – Limited community transmission (low risk)

  • Surgical mask required BUT you must not remove it during your visit
  • No advance booking is required
  • Complete a RAT test on arrival with a negative result
  • 2 adult and 2 children visitors per day
  • Visit in resident’s room or outside, no communal area access

Orange – Rising community transmission or COVID-19 exposure in the home (Medium risk)

  • Surgical mask and face shield required BUT you must not remove it during your visit
  • 1 adult visitor per day
  • Bookings in advance are required via email to the Moran Home 
  • Complete a RAT test on arrival with a negative result
  • Visit in resident’s room or outside, no communal area access

Red – Outbreak declared (High risk)

  • Full PPE required including gloves, gown, surgical mask and face shield. Direction will be provided on your arrival. NOTE: the risk of COVID-19 transmission to visitors during an outbreak is high, so visitors need to accept the potential risk of COVID-19 infection transmission as a condition of their entry
  • 1 adult “essential visitor” per day – see below for explanation of essential visitor
  • Bookings in advance required via email to the Moran Home 
  • Complete a RAT test on arrival with a negative result

All visitors

  • MUST NEVER visit if you are unwell (even if you have a negative Rapid Antigen Test RAT)
  • Complete screening on arrival – including temperature check and screening questions
  • A RAT kit will be provided by Moran on arrival.  People who visit daily will be required to RAT every 72 hours, not daily.  Please allow 15 mins on arrival for full RAT testing time
  • Register your arrival and departure via the Moran QR code & NSW Government QR Code
  • Follow the directions of Moran employees whilst at the home including what Personal Protective Clothing (PPE) to wear
  • Visit during visiting hours unless special arrangements have been made for compassionate visits including when end of life is imminent
  • Provide proof of vaccination on arrival, special arrangements for children under 12

Moran Engadine

  • Green – low risk
  • Please request a visit booking via email and we will reply promptly as soon as we have verified your loved one’s PCR testing status and demand on bookings at the same time.
  • Visiting hours are 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, weekends from 9am to 1pm

Moran Sylvania

  • Green – Low risk
  • Visiting hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm Saturday and Sunday

 Moran Kellyville

  • 2 adult visitors per resident per day are able to visit
  • Orange level – medium risk
  • Visiting hours are Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 4.30 pm and Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 4pm

Moran Roxburgh Park

  • Anglesea & Daintree – Red – High Risk
  • Other households – Orange level – medium risk
  • Visiting hours are between Mon to Fri 10am to 4pm and Sat & Sun & Public Holidays 11am to 3pm
  • Please request a visit booking in advance by email
