Visiting our Homes

Visitors are asked to place the well-being of their loved one at the centre of their decision-making when considering if they should visit. We strongly encourage all visitors to keep their COVID-19 and influenza vaccination status up to date.

There may be times when we are required to limit visits because of COVID-19, RSV, gastroenteritis, influenza or another virus in the Home, but we will always facilitate safe visits where we can. It is essential that our residents can have visitors and maintain contact with their families in a way that does not compromise their health and those they live with.

  • Anyone who is displaying flu-like symptoms must not visit, even with a negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)
  • Visitors are encouraged to take home a supply of RAT kits and test at home before visiting although onsite testing is available
  • If you test positive for COVID-19 you must not visit for 7 days unless it is for compassionate reasons, please discuss this with your Home’s General Manager first.
  • Wash or sanitise your hands regularly when visiting

We have adopted a tiered visitation protocol that can be switched depending on the current situation at your Moran Home (please read below for information).

Screening is required when you arrive for a visit.
