We would like to take the opportunity to extend a warm welcome and introduce you to Jill Allsopp, who joins Moran Engadine as General Manager. Jill comes to us with significant experience and qualifications in nursing and over 17 years in aged care, dementia and palliative care.
Some of Jill’s notable achievements include being selected to participate in a 3-year research program with the University of Technology and Hammond Care where she developed a step-by-step process to maximise the benefits of facilitated case conferencing with end-stage dementia patients. She has also developed and facilitated a ‘Breast Awareness and Resilience’ program which was presented to high school students and community organisations to increase breast cancer education.
Jill has been nominated for Australian of the Year, is a registered nurse and in her own words is ‘a doting grandmother to 7 grandchildren’.
