When Moran Home’s are closed to visitors there is group of people who are permitted access.  This group includes employees, emergency services personnel, GPs and visitors who meet ‘essential visitor’ criteria.

An essential visit is where we make an exception for visitors of those residents who are nearing end of life, are unwell, have clinical indication of deterioration from emotional distress, weight loss due to stress, clinical depression etc. We have very clear direction from VIC Health and NSW Health on how to handle these situations.

We will review individual situations on a case by case basis.  If you require an essential visit, please speak with the General Manager of your Home direct and they will review your request.
