As the chef manager, you will be responsible for setting up and creating the catering arm for the facility. We are seeking a dedicated individual to lead the catering services at our Engadine Facility. As the chef manager, you will be responsible for setting up and creating the catering arm for the facility. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day to day management and delivery of food services at the ACH
  • Ensure dietary & nutritional needs of the residents are met
  • Ensure allocated budget for food services is adhered to & take appropriate measures to eliminate food wastage
  • Audit equipment and stock on regular basis
  • Lead and supervise food services staff to ensure MHCG standards are met.

Key Requirements

  • Certificate Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Aged care experience preferable
  • Proven capabilities of leading a team in a busy kitchen.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, WHS and Food Safety.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven capabilities in cost controls.
  • Must have valid work rights & Police Check
