 About the Role

  • Ensure accurate end to end processing of fortnightly Payrolls
  • Maintain accurate and up to date payroll records, systems, and database
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and MHCG Policy and EBA
  • Provide high level of customer service when addressing employee payroll queries
  • Processing new hires, transfers and terminations
  • Support PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax & Payroll reporting
  • Assist with maintenance of payroll system
  • Prepare and process termination payments, workers compensation payments
  • Prepare and process fortnightly and monthly reports
  • Ad hoc payroll tasks and queries

About you

  • Qualification in Payroll, Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent or equivalent relevant experience
  • Three years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience with CareSystems essential
  • Previous experience in Aged Care highly desired
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership of your work.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Suite incl Excel
  • Must have valid working Visa
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination
